The PS5 Exists.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity on PS4 is notorious for its sub-par performance, with even an extensive optimisation push only resulting in 22-24fps frame-rates in NPC-heavy areas. The upgrade on Pro is hugely impressive. The title hits 30fps for the vast majority of the duration with only slight dips beneath the target. A hugely ambitious console title that lacked the horsepower to deliver a decent experience is finally running as it should - and it's really worth revisiting with Pro's boost mode active.

Nice. Picked it up for $10 a while ago, still in my backlog. At least it will be running smoothly.

Wow... The boost in Project Cars is insane, 37fps up to 50fps?

SvennoJ I also picked it up for $10 and I'm waiting to get a Pro to play it. Can't wait after this boost thing was announced.

Is this game worthy of such a distinction?

I like how it takes a ps4 pro to get Mighty #9 to run at 60fps. God dat game

Great work as usual from DF. Really looking forward to 4.50, looks like it has greatly improved frame rate and even more importantly response time. Now I am very excited to get back into some Assetto Corsa in the lead up to Gran Turismo Sport.

Just watched the second video, and wow some of those gains are impressive! Hoping to see some tests with games such as The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and Just Cause 3... although I'm not expecting too much from Bloodborne unless it somehow fixes the framepacing issue.

First boost mode impressions with JC3 and Witcher 3 are very positive on neogaf. BB seems to not gain that much - framepacing might be a bit better overall, but still is a constant issue to those that are sensitive to it. Personally I have no problem with that when playing the game, but when I'm just watching it I do realize some stutters.

Alot of those games that have dips down to 45-50 range, suddenly are solid 60 fps.

This makes getting a PS4pro worth it imo... If you dont own a PS4 and your looking to get one, dont get a slim, go for the PS4pro.
