Well 0.05 out of 1 is also 5%.

My thinking was that he was talking about revenue. So out of a possible 780 million the revenue was 5% which equals 39 million. When he said 3.9 million, I replied with "Thats 0,5%" Which it is out of 780.

It was all a misunderstanding.

It is, but since the original calculation you disagreed with used * (times) I figured you used the term "out of" as a replacement for that.

Well I disagreed because I thought we were talking about 780 million, not 78 million.

Around the Network

Imo, the numbers, if looked at in a vacuum, are good. It's millions in profit from little effort. However I'd say Nintendo did quite a few things wrong with this one. First of all, it's overpriced as fuck. There are plenty of better games on the app store that are free, not to even mention paid. Second of all, the game itself, well, imo it looks pretty bad, but of course, people will have to judge that to themselves. I at least wouldn't really bother to download this even if it was free. I think Nintendo could've easily made a lot more considering that Mario is ,at the very least, one of the five biggest gaming IPs out there, very possibly the single biggest.
