Phones already have that covered.

Just like Voice chat, right?

I don't want one at all.

I even forgot WiiU had one. That's how little it mattered.

...You could say that.

Tell me how many people actually used the camera a "lot of times" on the 3DS and the Wii U Gamepad?

It already has low battery....... you still want to have AR included?

Jranation, you just don't get it. Don't you know we're supposed to expect a 4k VR Mobile machine with 20 hour battery life as well as the most pixel clear camera in the world? God. Stop being realistic. This is Nintendo and they have money. They can do it!

Who's says it won't get one? The Switch was made to be modular. Maybe they'll release a camera module that you can snap in between the tablet and Joycon. 😏 Maybe even release a hologram module that can project Princess Leia.

Ehh, seems like a waste of money and space. Few games used it on the 3ds and few on the wii u.

What happened to the Switch main feature being vr? Did they dump that idea to go with motion controls instead?

With the more demanding games struggling to lock at 30fps, VR is out of the question, just as I said weeks ago when people were still insisting it was possible and that the hardware was fast enough.

I don't think I have ever used the camera on my 3DS, Wii U, or my Vita and I feel like most others don't either. It would just be another expense for Nintendo that not many people would use, so it was probably left out just to cut costs.
