I can't watch the video. I want to go in blind.

I don't think you'll enjoy the game the same if you go blind.

Ha, true.

I liked the way it was implemented in the alpha quite a bit. Instead of "farming" whestones I just used many different weapons and kept the best ones (stats wise) in a fresh state to fight the really hard enemies. But ofcourse this realistic quick degradation of weapons/Katanas (japanese steal had awful quality) doesn't work well with the "familiarity" system which wasn't active in the alpha.

This is exactly why I didn't like the way it was implemented in the Alpha.
It's like saving your Elixirs in Final Fantasy games for tough times, but ending up never using them.

All the degredation system did was encourage me to carry arround extra weapons that I normally wouldn't bring, because of their ATK stats. What is the point of that? Well it forces you to use a weaker weapon most of the time. But you still do that occasionally now, because of the new system that systematically increases the weapons power up to its maxium (real?) potential. And if you find a new better weapon, you may have to use it at a weaker ATK stat until you've used it enough.

One thing I disliked as well was that it was impossible for me to determine if a new weapon I found was stronger than my best (broken) sword, because I can't see what its original stats were.
I believe that problem is still present, only now because of the increased ATK stats of the weapons.

Yea that is one thing I notice I do too. I make a game harder for myself by saving stuff that is 'consumable' such as you said elixers in FF games.

or in FE games, since weapons can break, I find I'm sitting there using like iron swords still near the end of the game cause I don't want to break my powerful weapons, lol.

Game definitely looks interesting. I wonder if it'll be better than Dark Souls 3 (they seem to have the same style)

u can turn off stamina bars.
