Switch!!!

Well...Smash Bros and that's pretty much it. Truly a disappointing, terrible console. This, coupled with the fact that I am disenchanted with handheld gaming, basically made me stay away as far as I could from Nintendo.

Trying to give a more positive outlook, let's see the good things:

· Again, Super Smash Bros U. The dim light in an ocean of darkness. This game is superb, full of roster, content, updates, and every kind of crazy addition. No story mode sucked, yeah, but everything else was just a blast. Have lost the amount of hours I've poured playing this with friends, with family or random people. Not to mention I've participated in plenty of tournaments. Never won any, but my playstyle is more fun-oriented, so I just like teasing everyone with Wario's ass. As long as I have fun (and I've had plenty, plenty of fun), then there's no problem at all.

· ZombiU. I liked it. Was rough around the edges, and the execution could have been miles better, but hey. It is enjoyable, and the "you only live once" mode is always challenging fun.

· The Wonderful 101. Charming fun, what else would one want?

· A remaster of the best Zelda out there. I'm obviously talking about Wind Waker!

· Great VC support. This is always appreciated, and something Nintendo should thrive to keep in all their next consoles.

Aaand...hmm. I guess that's that.

Bayonetta 2
Pikmin 3
Splatoon
Zombi U
Smash bros
SM3DW

The only system I bought for myself at launch on pre-order. I saved it for Christmas. I was newly single that year after a long and fairly lousy relationship, had a good job for the first time and treated myself to a Wii U and a slew of launch titles. It was a wonderful self-indulgence and a happy time. That winter I played a tonne of BLOPS2, my first COD I owned, and Xenoblade Chronicles. I hosted parties and girls loved picking songs using the Wii U touch screen. Such happy times. Before the dark Wii U times. It's kinda sad that despite the great start I won't really miss the machine. After getting an XBOne everything about the old girl seemed dated.

3 games that the Wii U will be remember for:
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon.

They are the best of what it has.

Bayonetta 1&2 as well are pretty damn good games in class as well.

I don't have the time to see a Jimquisition video right now (basically because I'm leaving for class), but based on my own experience, it was great.

Here comes the Switch!

For now...
Best games / favorite games on WiiU: Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Lego City Undercover, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Guitar Hero Live, Super Mario 3d World, Mario Kart 8

Best memories.... so many.....
- playing Nintendoland with my family / friends and laughing a lot together with Mario Chase, Animal Crossing Sweet Day, Luigi´s Ghost Mansion or trying to beat the Zelda and Metroid attractions in groups
- The bosses and visuals of Bayonetta 2. Amazing. One surprise after the other
- more local multiplayer fun with Just Dance, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Pikmin 3 and online with Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon
- finding the way to the island in Lego City Undercover
- beating Super Mario 3d World
- being able to finally buy Trauma Team and Metroid Prime Trilogy (on virtual console)
