It seems to be made for it. Slide off the joycons and slide it into a headset. If phones can do it I don't see how the switch couldn't.

 

Edit: forgot about the low res screen. Would have to be some tailormade vr experiences to accomodate for that.

Tho his claims has beeen supported by Laura Kate Dale, in the first case, so I guess he has some good insider telling him telling him everything. The fact that he is willing to do this during 12 days in sucession is so crazy that it might be true for a large portion of it.

Doesn't mean that VR will be highlighten during the Switch event though. Could be reserved for another event like E3 or a Nintendo Digital Event.

I mean, the same thing happened with the Wii U when it comes to Assassin's Creed. I don't think it's much of a leap for anyone to have guessed something like that.

Forgot switch event was so soon. Hype.
As for the rumor it makes sense because Sony and MS are doing it and smartphones have some type of VR. The joycons would work perfectly with VR.

1. VR never has and never will appeal to me, personally, so I could care less.

2. I would never trust the word of a Youtuber, about any sort of rumors. I don't even trust these so-called "insiders" that spill info, like whatshername.

It's possible , like how Samsung VR gear headset works. By attaching your mobile device in to your Samsung VR headset.

but the immersion quality is really horrible , and i would not even considered suggesting to people , if it's for gaming experience.
