Forums - PC Discussion - *HELP* Tips for beating my backlog of games??

Any tips you guys have used in the past that help you finally get through your gaming backlog?

Too many games haha. I feel like I enjoy buying games on sale and installing them more than actually playing the game sometimes xD

Playing through Black Flag now though for the first time. Loving it. 1 game at a time seems to be working somewhat for me so far....

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

I have a that problem too and I don't have a lot of free time at home so usually I play two games, right now I'm playing watch dogs 2 and Final Fantasy XV. Before that Mafia 3 and Deus Ex MD. Other thing if you're not really interested and you just wanna play them cause you bought the games, that's a bit difficult. So stop buying games *just* because they are on sale and play 2 games at the same time.

This is why I decided to NOT upgrade my PS4's hard drive. If I have 500 GB of games its time to stop buying and start playing. Currently I need to play Alien Isolation, Until Dawn, GTA 5, Witcher 3, Doom and finish Dragon's Quest Heros. I'm working on Lego Star Wars TFA right now.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

Don't.

Best advice you're ever going to get.

Stop buying new games. The backlog should go away as long as you keep playing.

I keep buying games. Having money is a bit of a curse as a gamer. I invest a lot of time in multiplayer experiences, try to play singleplayer experiences, make the mistake of going back to something like Overwatch, and the backlog just gets worse. My advice is to stop buying games until you clear a portion of your backlog.

At worst, you save money by buying games on sale for as little as $20 or less down the line, beating any Amazon or Best Buy new game discount on stock $60 prices, and you won't feel as bad for not beating a game you've bought in a timely manner.

Dont buy games day1, if backlog is too big.
Save some $, get the games you want anyways, but when their cheap.
And just start working on that backlog.

Quit your job

That'll help quite a bit

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Sometimes I just play it wihout worrying about the correct tactics/weapons/sets or any locked stuff you might have missed which isn't compulsory to complete the game.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Play the games you have now?
