Well, if you get to remove Mario Kart cos you don't care about it, then I'm removing Animal Crossing, Melee, and Fire Emblem. :P

I don't agree with amp316 that GCN had the worst of all Nintendo series, (Metroid Prime, F Zero GX, and Twilight Princess were great) but I'd definitely say GCN has the weakest first party lineup of any Nintendo console as it has the worst of Zelda, 3D Mario, Starfox, and Mario Kart.

I dunno. I can't agree with the notion of Gamecube having the weakest first party lineup ever. For me there's plenty of quality first-party games in it that overshadow most of the other consoles; not only that, but they're still perfectly playable, which is something that can't be quite said of others.

If I were to add up the amount of first party gems for each Nintendo console, GCN would have the least in my opinion. About the only ones I'd call truly great are Prime, Twilight Princess, and GX.

The only category where Gamecube might fail, if anything, is in 3D Mario, which I can understand people not liking despite that I loved it. But then there's this:

· Five Zelda games, with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Four Sword Adventures and Twilight Princess.

· 3D Luigi in the form of Luigi's Mansion.

· Two Pikming games.

· Animal Crossing.

· Two Donkey Kong games. Alright, Jungle Beat might have been a disaster, but Donkey Konga has its charm, and an amazingly fun peripherial with it.

· Wario World and the recollection of Mega minigames with WarioWare Inc. Mega Party.

· Super Mario Strikers, if you dig that.

· Metroid Prime 1 and 2.

· Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.

· Fire Emblem Path of Radiance.

· Both Pokemon Colosseum.

· F-Zero GX.

I certainly don't know about quantity when compared to N64, SNES or NES. But quality is right there, and a good number of games to back it up.

Nearly all of those games have issues that cause them to fall short of greatness in my view.

The key underlying theme of Gamecube's library for me was that it was wrong kind of experimental. It did things differently just for the sake of being different, and in doing so actually detracted from the appeal of many of their franchises. It's the same problem we saw this gen with games like Starfox Zero.

Maybe it's our approach to it. I loved the experimentation, the craziness, the ditching the safe formula to try risking frontiers. It didn't pay off with WiiU, but it did pay off with Gamecube in my eyes.

I like experimentation to a degree; I liked the switch to a first person perspective with Metroid Prime, and I liked the motion controls of the Wii. But I feel like too many of Nintendo's GCN games strayed away from what made their predecessors great. Sunshine didn't have the varied worlds of Mario 64, Starfox Adventure didn't have the fast paced action of its forebears, Double Dash made Mario Kart more convoluted and less accessible, etc.

None, they are like boobs, perfect in many shapes and sizes.

Do they also give a hard-on sometimes, like boobs do, when you touch them?

Nah, they cheated on me by making mobile game. Dirty whores.

I love them all in their own way, so it is a tough choice for me. I went with the GameCube.

Metroid Prime 1 and 2 were and are amazing games. Pikmin was an amazing new franchise. The controller is an all-time great.

Then I look at the rest of Nintendo's output on the console. I spent a lot of hours. Had a lot of fun. But when I compare them to previous entries or later entries, they just don't quite measure up for me.
