The Holy Trinity is
-2D Mario, Mario Kart, Smash on home console
-2D Mario, Mario Kart, Pokemon on hh

B-league games like Zelda, 3D Mario and M+S at Olympic games are great second tier games but let's try and stay level-headed.

B league games????  sorry but what? Zelda on conoles always sells more than 3 million, but the game sells a lot of consoles. 3d Mario?

Mario 64 - 12 million

mario sunshine - 7 million

Mario Galaxy - 12 million

Mario galaxy 2 - 7.5 million

Mario 3d world - 4 million

and I'm not even talking about olympic games.

Holy 'Trinity'/A-league for Nintendo is Pokemon, 2D Mario and Mario Kart.

B-league isn't meant as an insult. It just means they're not quite A-league. They would be A-league/god-tier on other consoles just not Nintendo ones.

There's no reason why Wii-U/3DS remasters of 2D Mario, Kart, Smash and Splatoon shouldn't be available at launch, I'd bet they're ready to go but Nintendo will hold them back. They should release a singleplayer heavy game alongside a multiplayer game. Rumours suggest 3D Mario and Splatoon at launch. Kart/Zelda(when finished) May-July, Smash/RetroIP Aug-Sept, 2D Mario/Pokemon holidays.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

But third games are always made with the same build, just some variations. The Switch is much much more powerful than a 3ds, so it doesn't make sense for it to have a third variation that uses a 3ds engine, unless the third version is, in fact, much more graphically intense.

Its kinda hard to say those games are A tier but 3D Mario isnt.

3DS+Wii U

Mario Kart-21.94 million

3D Mario-16.17 million

2D Mario-16.05 million

Smash Bros-13.34 million

I would agree with your predictions, sounds about right

I think Pokemon will be cross gen for the 3DS and Switch though

That's definitely a killer line-up. But the secondary hype will come from franchises like Metroid, F-Zero, etc.

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

it's right there, read.

"And not a spin off, a real pokemon game. Masuda is not the director of Pokemon Sun and Moon because he's directing the third game for the Switch"

Nah no pictures, maybe for the next one. I'm going to give away a geforce GTX 1070. Now, wanna bet something?

Sure but a "real one" is subjective.

Yeah, but "not a spin off" isn't.

I think this could happen. I feel like the Pokemon game could be the third in a set, like a "Pokemon Stars," but if it is a completely new director I guess not. Gen 4 remakes for Switch?

I make videos that are sometimes funny I think?

I find it a little curious as to the number of people on this forum who have false memories about Metroid being so much bigger of a franchise than it ever actually was.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

For me the holy trinity is zelda, 3D mario and Metroid.
