So yeah the title basically says it all. I have only played one Battlefield game and it was Battlefield 4.

Is the game really worth this much hype? I may actually pick it up if so.

I feel like it may be a possibility. Battlefield Hardline was considered a major disappointment to some Battlefield fans, so maybe they were just super excited for this one and went out and bought Battlefield 1. Idk though, I don't think any sales data has been released.

I've never been into battlefield before but picked up my first in battlefield one. The game is a multiplayer experience like no other. The matches actually feel like a small scale war is breaking out (it's 64 players on console, probably more on PC) and the maps are fucking ginormous. Imagine running brought a battle zone with planes flying over head, tanks passing by with constant sniper fire coming your way, and it's all real human interaction - that's kind of what battlefield feels like to me. It's all just really hectic.

I haven't started it yet but it does look incredibly good. As far as biggest launch ever in the fine print it says "biggest launch according to daily active users" meaning its the most played game,doesnt necessarily mean highest selling,though that is quite possible as well
