Does anyone outside Japan care about this series?

I'll care once the price comes down.

Might be because they still need to sell their games on the other platforms. This one seem to be exclusive.

How did you get that impression? I'm not seeing anything that even hints at that, even slightly.

Its not announced for any other platform?

Enjoy these games. They get ported to literally everything though, so not really a shocker.

I like strategy games tbh they're quite relaxing to play.

No game was announced here, and the series has been on other platforms for ages?

Well then it is different from the other two since this means nothing and Skyrim and NBA 2K17 are actual games.

Wait, you're telling me that there are actually other strategy games out there!? I'll have to look into this series... after they actually announce a game. :L

Really? I find them to be pretty tense and engaging. Have you played Fire Emblem? It's the opposite of relaxtion, well unless you play on free-win mode.

I've played FE and some other strategy games, I don't really get stressed playing such games maybe because my job itself employs a lot of strategic thinking in trading and the mental traing we're giving. If FE is tense for you than you may want to stay clear of some RTS'.

That must be some training! I've never heard anyone say that about this game. Are you a pro at lunatic mode then? :o

Also what you talkin bout, the intensity is a significant reason why I like these games!

It depends on the FE too. Radiant Dawn/Path of Radiance had great battles (Hard mode), Awakening is barely interesting even in Lunatic mode (interesting before the chapter 4 IIRC, it drops fast after you get the free roaming). Didn't play Fates because of this :/

Not really pro I just don't really get that stressed over it, mental training is also common among traders we're all trained to not care about any money you're trading and this is a role where a lot of money can be lost in seconds that's out of your control even if you stuck to the rules because some bit of news comes out about a CEO. Dealing with that makes dealing with other things far easier, to me RTS' and strategy games are fun and relaxing even though they can be intense it's just that the intensity of them doesn't really stress me tbh.
