Red Faction was banned in Germany?

This is what I was thinking too. Why was it banned? It's not like there was anything too questionable in the game.

I hope they're continuing the franchise. Loved Guerilla.

Why would anyone play it on PS4 when even the cheapest PC can play it these days is beyond me. Decent game though.

I suppose it is. I just don't remember this series as being particularly violent. Been a while though. If I have time I'm going to quickly look into this.

Ok, so Red Faction was considered "harmful to Germany's youth". Cough. I came across this gaf thread, which is quite old (2010), but the list of banned games is staggering. I had no idea videogame censorship was so out of control there. Again, it's old, but it should give you and idea of how bad shit is in Duetschland. Fallout 3?! WTF?!
