‘FIFA 17’ (-79%) dominates the All Formats Chart at No1 for a second week, ahead of 2K’s ‘Mafia III’ which lands at No2 with the biggest ever launch in the series.

Debut week sales for ‘Mafia III’ are up 58.7% compared to the launch of ‘Mafia II’, although the previous release managed to chart at No1 when it came out over six years ago. ‘Forza Horizon 3’ (-71%) makes way, slipping one place to No3, while ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (-1%) jumps up 6 places to No4, still enjoying the benefits of a retailer promotion. ‘Rocket League’ (-18%) is still proving popular, up 3 places to No5, while ‘Bioshock: The Collection’ (-43%) and ‘XCom 2’ (-40%) both slide two places to No’s 6 and 7 respectively. Take 2 however can comfort themselves with the fact that they have 4 titles in the Top 10. It would have been 5, but ‘NBA 2K17’ (-50%) drops from No9 to No15 this week. Only 3 other new releases make the Top 40 – ‘Paper Mario: Color Splash’ is new for Wii U at No14, ‘Ride 2’ starts its engines at No20 and ‘Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide’ squeaks in at No34. Next week ‘FIFA 17’ will be up against ‘Gears of War 4’…

In these threads he includes weekly and monthly sales charts from many countries in the PAL region. If we could agree on this, it might prove to be a good idea to collect the charts in 1 thread as some of the threads receive very low activity on their own.

He knows this only includes the UK sales for now.

British gamers seems like have no interest in kids games.

So biggest launch sales for a Mafia game in the UK alone, without any reviews! Review embargos work!

Considering what's above Colour Splash I'd say a 8th for it is fairly successful.

Good debut for Mafia 3. And there was me thinking there was no hype. Well up on Mafia 2. Fuck all official reviews so I have to go off user reviews. They've been more positive than negative. Hopefully word of mouth sells this game over time. I don't want it to be the last Mafia.

Also week 2 of FIFA is over 200k. With digital it probably did 250k second week. Insane considering most games can't do that first week.
