If you don't have the previous PS4 version, in my opinion, Slim is worthless becouse PRO is only 50-100 more expensive.

For him wanting Uncharted 4 the Pro is 150$ more expensive though.

True, but I can always play it later because I haven't played the other 3 Uncharted games and there are some other games I'm interested in playing too like God of War III , InFAMOUS Second Son, and The Last of Us.

Not "worthless" as it will still play every PS4 game (supposedly), but it's more of a matter of cost savings vs. performance. If you buy U4 with a PS4P, it's $460 without a sale on the game, you buy the PS4S and it's $300 with U4.

Personally, I don't see any reason to buy anything but the Pro at the asking price, but to the majority of the market, price matters.

(your sig graphic reminded me I need to finish Life is Strange)

That's definitely why I've been stuck between the 2 PS4s. The Slim is a great deal for anyone who doesn't own a PS4 yet and doesn't want the Pro. Despite the cost, I could always wait until after playing the games I'm interested in right now like the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, InFAMOUS Second Son, God of War III, and The Last of Us.

I'm not sure which post you're referring to.

I'm not calling anyone out specifically, but if anyone implies there's no benefit to the significant hardware update in the PS4P, it's just plain disingenuous at worst, ignorant at best.

Alright. Thanks for clarifying.

PS4 Pro. Hopefully they will release a list of games that will get PS4 Pro treatment.

I believe there already is a list of games that will get the PS4 Pro treatment, but do you mean a through list like the one that says whether or not a PS Vita game or app supports PS TV?

I don't think there's any competition here apart from if the price, but the way I see it if you're willing to spend the cash on a PS4 slim that does nothing different then surly you'd be willing to pay the bit extra to get a much more powerful machine.
I'll be getting a pro but I need to find a way to get the cash without touching my bank.

Playstation 4 Pro :P

I'm honestly leaning towards the PS4 Pro more than the Slim despite how much of a good deal the Uncharted 4 PS4 Slim bundle is.

I'm trying to decide the same thing before black friday rolls around and I think I'm leaning pro.
Obviously I'm hoping for a good deal on the pro, but as a first time PS4 owner getting the more future proof console with better specs and bigger harddrive seems like the natural thing to do.

I'm going to agree with you.

Unless you use your PS4 as a machine to just play 1 or 2 series, the Pro. And I'm only saying that because of the 1TB storage.

Pro. In a walk-off K.O.

There are plenty of games I want to play like the Uncharted games, God of War III, InFAMOUS Second Son and First Light, and The Last of Us. I'm also interested in the upcoming Gravity Rush 2. I enjoyed the first one on the Vita and sequel looks great.
