You are missing point.
It's not same if GC could run GBA games (not to mentione that GBA couldnt run GC games), and if you have just one single device for which are developed games bought from all Nintendo handheld and home console teams (that are actualy now merged).
Of Course that Wii U is not hybrid, you cant use Wii U gamepad like real handheld on go, Wii U gamepad is basically Wii U Pro controller with screen in middle, Wii U is just a home console with tablet like controller not hybrid.

We aren't talking about the form factor specifically here.
We are talking about the ability to run two platforms worth of games on a single platform, the form factor of the device is irrellevent... The fact that specific ability has never been attributed to a massive uptick in sales is a very telling fact.
The NX will likely have other attributes that should help it sell, but that specific piece of functionality I am dubious about due to historic precedence.
As for the Wii U, it is a Hybrid, the fact it has a screen in it's controller which allows for games to be played off-screen independent of the Television is a testament to that fact, even if it comes with caveats.

We are not talking only about form factor only here, even if we talk about form factor NX will be home console and handheld in one so you will need to buy just one EX, you can't compare that with anything Nintendo done before, and that will most likly be main selling point, home console and handheld in one.
Like I wrote, of course that Wii U is not hybrid, you cant use Wii U gamepad like real handheld on go, Wii U gamepad is basically Wii U Pro controller with screen in middle, Wii U is just a home console with tablet like controller not hybrid. NX will be real hybrid, real handheld that can be used on go and real home console that can be used at home.
