Forums - Gaming Discussion - Nintendo+PC = Heaven?

It definitely isn't something that will work for everyone. Buut, it works for me, haha.

You know that's not true. People will always be getting some issue or another. You're talking about modern environment - Crysis 2 (I think that was the version) launched but then at the beginning of the game, my character was not visible - no hand or gun. That's one example. Plenty of people have issues with games on Steam - their forums is full of that. I guess you're one of the lucky ones. I never had a game not play for me on console - 3 generations and counting now.

Years but definitely not a console generation - at least not if you spend less than $1,000 on the PC.

Crysis 2 launched 5 years ago, it's not representative of the PC today, Crysis 3 was a far better game at launch.
You should try playing a game from today on a modern system, running Windows 10: Anniversary with actual modern hardware.

The PC is constantly evolving, updating, improving every year and always has the latest technology and graphics techniques which are often PC on the first, console second.

Okay. Halo: Master Chief Collection had a non-functioning multiplayer component for a good 6 months.
The single player was plagued with crashes, glitches and other issues. It also took me a good 20 hours to install.

Skyrim PS3 had a multitude of issues, framerate drops, save bugs, crashes, you name it.
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas were terribly shoddy games on the PS3 when they launched as well.

Battlefield 4 was an issue-plagued game from day 1, on every platform, console included.

Dead Island on the 360 I had vanishing inventory, crashes, quests wouldn't complete. I literally stopped playing it.

Let's not forget Asassins Creed Unity, Destiny with it's connection issues and bugs on launch, Red Dead Redemption was plagued with server issues, headless NPC's etc' and more.

There is a reason why games on consoles these days are dropping with multi-gigabyte patches day 1, so don't pretend your platform is immune to any and all issues, they aren't and the proof is in the pudding.

These issues are all present in the software and can be fixed by patch - nothing to do with the console. It affects all owners and is usually due to inept devs. There's no troubleshooting to do. On the other hand, a game can have a multitude of issues of issues that specific to one owner's PC. That's the big difference. I just got tired of PC gaming.

I prefer Nintendo+PS/Xbox. Nothing wrong PC but i usually enjoy the exclusives consoles have more than PC exclusives and third party games.

"Nintendo consoles being the only ones that pretty much dont share 90% of their games with PC."

That first line is a pretty bizarre argument, at least as far as the PS4 and WiiU go. The WiiU's lack of overlap with PC isn't because its library is overflowing with exclusives, it's just out-right missing the multi-plats. If you're a PC gamer looking to buy a console for exclusives, neither is lacking in options. Your preferences are going to be far more relevant than "but the PS4 has exclusives and multi-plats" :p

It's a more valid argument for handhelds, but even then, preferences will prevail.

Absolutely, for me. With PC+Nintendo I'll be missing out on only one game that I feel I must absolutely play.

Unless you want to miss 90% of the best that gaming has to offer, I guess Nintendo+PC is the way to go.

Most PC classics come to iOS nowadays and Nintendo is slowly transitioning to becoming a 3rd party to Apple devices, who knows in 5 years they will fully transition.

PS4+iPad is the way to go

For a moment I thought today was April Fools' Day

"Yes, Absolutely

Barely a debate, with that combo you have access to 95% of the best games out there."

Your post makes perfect sense now.

Sure. Accoding to you, it makes sense. It'd be weird to think otherwise about your own opinion.

His opinion make more sense right? Airpad and Ps4 is the way to go, Nintendo is an apple third party, you dont need a pc cause classics are on ios and Ps4 alone has 90% of the best games on the market unlike Pc+wiiu+xbo+3ds that only had a 10%, lol

And you're defending that, bravo.
