Like I said in the very first line of my opening post, yes it was on other platforms. It's good to see capcom are now considering the ps4 for the series. Hopefully they'll give it more MH in future.

The MH Frontier series IS ALREADY ON PS4 IN JAPAN and has been for a while. This is Japan only and will never come west.

Well, I'm sure that, when the next mainline MH comes out, it will have two versions, the NX and the PS4. The NX will do better in Japan and the PS4 better everywhere else. And Capcom will be happy. But I wonder if they are going to update the graphics, if I'm not mistaken, the best graphics of the series are either on the WiiU port or on that MH G online that exists for the chinese PC market.

It's cool that it's coming to ps4 but I'd prefer play this series on Nintendo platforms and I rather see mh5 on the nx than the ps4. Before someone calls me a fanboy I still feel like mgs and final fantasy are sony series

It will come to both NX and PS4, there is little to no doubt about that. The 3DS audience proved is too profitable to abandon, but the same can be said about the growing PS4 one. The series being multiplat will only benefit everyone.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
