Not sure why PS4 owners would say 1080p is useless, but now it is ok, when the PS4 is the only system to consistently deliver 1080p.  And people may have said 4K was useless years ago, but that was more true back then, as 4K TVs were expensive as hell. 

Also, I HIGHLY doubt there were people saying Slims are useless.  We have had Slims ever since the PSOne launched, so who would say they are pointless?  Granted some have said the PS4S is pointless because the PS4 is already small enough, but that's the opposite of what you are proposing people are saying.  What was said was that MS was foolish for announcing the Scorpio so early, since it's more than a year away AND they announced right after the Slim, which kinda stole its thunder.  And people who don't like Scorpio also don't like the Neo, for the same reason, they don't like the idea of a mid-gen upgrade.

Except it's not, why is it not? Because the creator of the thread made some shit up because he's salty and decided to make a thread to appease other salty individuals. No one said the Xbox One S was pointless, and if anyone did then they're an idiot. What was actually said was that with the Xbox One S announced at the beginning of Microsofts E3, with Microsoft then announcing the scorpio later in the conference was idiotic, especially since the scorpio isn't releasing until late 2017.

They didn't even unveil the product itself, let alone the price of it. Btw, how much a 4K gaming PC cost?

We all know according to VGC Xbox One Slim was useless due to Scorpio announcement.

PS4 Slim is a cheap model
PS4 Neo is expensive

Xbox One S is in between just like OG XBO
Xbox Scorpio is expensive.

The issue is that the Xbox One S didn't significantly lower the price of the XBO.
If the PS4 Slim is the same as XBO S than it too is pretty pointless from a consumer stand point.

I don't think he has to. The general consensus here was that announcing 2 SKU's at E3, diminished the usefulness of the other.

All of a sudden, everyone was either waiting on Scorpio or building a NSA supercomputer for $400 because of Scorpio announcement.
