Nice, it's probably the most square console I've ever seen though.
I still prefer the original PS4 design but if this comes with a big price drop I'm sure it won't matter.
Can see this being the must buy item for Christmas this year.

I liked the PS4 more then the Xbox one but in the slim department I have to give the edge to Microsoft. The PS4 Slim looks allright but I don't think its an improvement over the looks of the original model, at least it doesn't look cheap I was afraid for that it looks solid and well designed.

I do miss the optical audio port tough :( the best thing is the light bar on the front so they can actually use some colors in a game and people will be able to see it without flipping the controller :D

The lightbar has always been pointless, changes colours as your life gets lower etc but its facing away from you so you can't see it.

The light isn't pointless, it's there for the PSVR. Without it, the controller can't be tracked by the PS Camera.

Come on, we not GAF. How can you say that after three years? It has a special purpose and you should know exactly which (besides of reducing the battery life, of course).

Very nice. A bit surprised by how much negative reception there is to the box; I think it looks great. I would absolutely buy this over the original if I didn't already have one. Gonna feel weird to refer the already compact original as the 'fat' PS4, lol.

Now I'm just really curious about the price and if there's been any improvements to the DS4's durability and battery life.
