I never said it WILL be good or that it IS good.
I said it LOOKS good, big difference.
First off, the graphics look very nice. And it looks to have nice charm to it, such as this trailer we saw here with the Rescue Squad. And the music I've heard thus far sounds nice too.

To say that it IS or it WILL be, implies that you've played it, which none of us have.
To say that it LOOKs like it will or LOOKS to be, implies general first impressions based on observation, WITHOUT playing it, in which case, all of us have.

Just because it looks good, doesn't necessarily mean it will be good, as gamers we should be no strangers to that.
But it also works the other way around. ESPECIALLY when someone takes it to the next level and starts already claiming that it will be bad without a second thought.

Ah, you ment literally. Yep no disagreeing with that, the game is nice to look at, but what about it's substance? The story, the gameplay etc., you know the stuff that actually matters. Have you really not looked at that at all and instead paid attention only to the visuals?

Also, please stop with this "you must play the game to know!" nonsense. Again, content will not magically change when you play the game. Plus as I also said already, since Color Splash is essentially Sticker Star 2, I may aswell have played it.

To be fair with Einsam, and as you pointed that never before have played a PM game (you should play TTYD), this one is far from the greatness that was the whole package of the old PM games.

In the old games, the game was full of new characters and more complex battle and upgrade systems. Even the world was connected in a different way.

Basically, this game is an action adventure while old games were RPG's. What sold me on the game is the charm and the thirst for Wii U games, but I already know that combat and overworld is not what I expected from a PM game.

So once again when it comes time to actually talk about the game itself the defenders go silent. It's what annoys me about them, all they do is attack those rightfully criticising the game, but they never actually defend it, to avoid discussing the game they either run away or come up with bs excuses. It's pretty obvious why they have to do this, we all know it and they know it.

Come on, you know is exhausting to have a discussion with you, the oponent has to end at some moment because you never do, when you have an opinon about something there is nothing else to do.

But regarding this game as I told you before, a wise man would give it the benefit of the doubt, so be a little bit wiser.

Pretty charming, still probably skipping this game.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

And there's the excuses I was talking about.

A wise man would see what's right in front of them.

I have played all Paper Mario games. I bought Sticker Star when it came to Nintendo Select because I had heard how horrible it was and did not want to buy it at full price. I found it to be a very nice game.
Finding all Wigglers parts was a little puzzling.
The peeling of stickers was a little boring after a while but was not a big problem. After all it allowed you to coose your fighting style, ignoring stickers you did not like.
Battles was okay and had a tactical aspect to it. I did not really mind the way battles were executed.
I assumed that the lack of different NPCs was a combination of the 3DS limited capabilities and the order from Miyamoto/Iwata to not produce new mascots.
I guess all of the things that was a little simplified in the 3DS game will be more fleshed out in the Wii U game.
As many have said Colour Splash really looks nice. One of my biggest complaints with TTYD is that the colours in the game are not very clear and bright. Maybe that was a choice that was made to make it look more paper-y. The same-ish colours are also in Tearaway.
If I recall correctly there was also a lot of backtracking in TTYD. Not so much in SS except for the Wiggler part.
I will probably buy Colour Splash at full price as I do not listen anymore to what the players that only want TTYD2 have to complain about.

Backtracking can be annoying only in Chapter 4, but I got used to it after playing the game so many times.

And rightfully attack the game? Jesus christ. All you do in these threads is attacking those who actually look forward to the game and not agreeing with you. It's been clear from the very first announcement that you do not like the game, and yet you come in here blablaing against those who actually looks forward to it.

It cant be that fun can it? I mean, there's been like 4-5 threads on the game and you are the most active poster in all of them - despite not wanting anything to do with the game. You're like an engine that never stops.

Plus it's better than constantly backtracking throughout Sticker Star for powerful stickers and thing objects (that you have no idea which ones you need).
