Kinda feel bad for Lebron if Ohio does end up being red. NBA is one of the more progressive US sports but people will still criticize him to taking a side in this election.
But then again, he's probably used to all the negativity and the Warriors are the most hated team now except in Cali lol

In this election we have 2 choices:
-That one candidate who doesn't deserve to be a presidential candidate
-That other idiot

I'm just looking forward to having a president that people both liberal and conservative can hate in unison.

It's the American way to think you're smarter than the president.



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Bit of a crowd at my polling place, had to wait longer than in the past. Any one else have to wait a while? 30 minutes? An hour? Longer?



Safe to say I was wrong.

I reviewed data multiple times and every single polling institution was off.

I never saw Pennsylvania as even competitive, and yet, here we are.

Honestly in shock and not sure how to process everyone getting the results so wrong. This election will be referred to for decades.

Current Results: 9:30AM Eastern Time

Electoral Vote:
Donald Trump: 276
Hillary Clinton: 218

Just for reference, we may see a repeat of 2000*

Popular Vote:
Hillary Clinton: 59,234,436 votes
Donald Trump: 59,082,155 votes

*2000 saw popular vote winner Gore lose the election to Bush due to electoral vote



The world is disbelief that gullible American people could be so stupid to elect an abhorrent man like Trump for President. Trump will be a cancer and bring devastation for his country and the world.

What, do you think demographic changes are just an inevitable law of nature? Trumpism is the only winning strategy left for Republicans without compromising their values. If Trump forces illegals to leave the country (at least 11 million), ends birthright citizenship (8% of births were to illegal aliens in 2013), and drastically reduces legal immigration (which adds over a million nonwhites per year), Republicans won't be marginalized. The only thing left is to see if they can take these necessary steps.

It doesn't have to be a constitutional amendment.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside."

Illegal aliens aren't subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. Therefore, their children are not citizens. If a liberal supreme court can find the right to abortions in the Constitution, a conservative one can easily dismiss the right to magic-dirt citizenship.

They can be deported on the grounds of being hostile foreign agents in the country. Do we have jurisdiction over Iraq, Afghanistan, or Syria? No, but we can still take military action upon people in those places.

To answer the last question first:  facetiously supposing that an amendment was passed abolishing the establishment of citizenship at birth, which also acted retroactively, all citizens who had enjoyed natural-born status until that time would need to become citizens—hence, I would need to take a citizenship test.  In other words, I was joking. 

Regarding your main point, I already addressed that issue with my edit, which you may not have noticed:  "Alternatively, if you choose to argue that illegal aliens are not "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States", under what authority can they be deported?"

In other words, since they are in our country and (unlike, for instance, foreign diplomats) subject to our laws, they are ipso facto "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States" and their children born here are citizens.

So any illegal alien deemed to be "non-hostile" cannot be deported?

P.S.  I believe that deportation and other matters are not military but civil in nature.  The separation of military force from domestic affairs is pretty strong.  Posse Comitatus Act and all.
