Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced Driveclub VR for PlayStation VR.

This new version of Driveclub offers a realistic racing experience previously unseen with a cockpit view through the PlayStation VR headset, as well as realistic sound with 3D audio, a mode where you can view each car from various angles, and newly added urban area courses.

Driveclub VR will launch alongside PlayStation VR on October 13. In Japan, it will cost 4,900 yen at retail and via download.

So let me get this straight. I already own a retail copy of Driveclub, but in order to play the game on VR i have to rebuy the game? RIP Playstation VR if this trend continues.

I wonder who is the developer for this.

I own Driveclub also, but thats like saying if you have Last of Us for PS3 that you should get the Remastered Edition on PS4 for free (or GTA V). Whats the Problem here!? I have no problem with it.

No it's not this is the same game on the same console. PC games get free updates for VR support and if they don't you can always fall back on the community.

I would imagine they will offer an upgrade to existing owners, they're doing the same for Stardust VR and I think a couple of other games. It would be smart of Sony to offer it free though, is a good showcase for VR.

Don't ruin the moment

I think I'm nearly there. The only problem is I've just been on GAF and a guy who's got NMS is going to be uploading vids later. GOD!
