Oh wow! The 3DS is still topping up XONE.

And yet it's still considered dead while I'm being told the X1 is doing totally fine! xD

Well to be fair, X1 will be wayyy ahead of 3DS in weekly sales after Aug 2nd.

Poor Vita it seems deader than dead in NA

3DS above Xbone. I guess talent always wins.

Seeing how PS4 is number 1 in these charts I believe you are correct..

I wouldn't be so sure about that. There's this little game coming in November, I don't know if you've heard of it. It's called Pokemon and I heard that franchise is quite popular right now.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

lol I wasn't suggesting that 3DS won't have anymore wins in the weekly column. Obviously, I have heard of Pokemon and 3DS will have a win here and there in the coming months but trying to retort my claim that in less than 2 weeks X1 will be ahead with a Holiday Pokemon 3 months later is rather silly. I am looking at the short term here as in the summer but yes Pokemon go is quite popular right now but hey if you need to go to a smart phone game to reassure you on vgchartz, that's fine. If you want go straight to holiday sales talk in July, fill your boots. Speaking of the holidays I hope 3DS and Pokemon sell well this year. It's going to need it going against console price drops/Neo/PS4 slim?/X1 S etc.

Sony has annunced that PS4 was at 40 million sold by the third week of May if i'm not wrong.

This mean PS4 has sold over 4.1 million the first 5 months of the year (but with one week missing, it may be over 4.2 million / under 4.3 million as well)

Using Media Create and NPD numbers, PS4 has sold 0.57 million in Japan and 1.35 million in USA those first 5 months, which mean JP+USA were under 47% of WW sales ( assuming PS4 is between 4.2m and 4.3m, let's say 4.25m; that could be a 45% of WW sales )

Huum, back by end of 2015, the JP+US sales were about 41%, this mean that actually the JP+USA marketshare is increased a bit.

Well assuming USA+JP was still about 45% in June, PS4 may be at almost 41 million by end of June.

Not sure about shipments...

Wow, updates!!!

In all the weeks from May to July, only PS4 had decent or good weekly HW sales, but it was enough to pwn competitors. OTOH SW sales went up and down for all and they had very nice boosts at gama launches.
PSV almost dead in USA, it's a shame, as with better sales there and just a little better in Europe it could reach decent sales WW. For its user base it's currently having good SW sales.
Wii U, what can we say, Ninty just gave up on it, like PSV it's selling better than what its producer's efforts could make it do.

Forever numero uno PS4

NPD numbers tell us that VGC tracked PS4, Wii U and XBOne quite well, PS4 will deed a small adjustment down in North America and XBOne a small adjustment up in the same region, but 3DS will need a BIG adjustment up there, unless it really had a slow first half of July followed by a huge boost in the still untracked here second half.
