12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

In light of all the ISIS-inspired crap being committed around the world, I think it's worth remembering that these are the flails of a group that has been consistently losing ground on all fronts for two years, recently losing Fallujah and Palmyra.  And has lost money from those losses and tightening of the Turkish border.  And they're losing popularity from what we can tell.  For all the noise they make, all the crap they talk, they're losing.  And have been losing.

And it makes you wonder, if the reason we have seen this spike in rather slap-dash attacks that lack the subtlety and careful elaborate planning of attacks of years past is that they are...well incapable of that?  Not to say thes eattacks aren't tragic, but it is a marked difference.  Like they are just desperate for a perceived "win" to trumpet, desperate to rope in more western involvement so they have a "common enemy" to point fingers at and rally people against, desperate for something to boost their rep.

But regardless of that speculation, let's not forget when they run their mouths and talk crap or pull off a cowardly attack on civilians somewhere, they aren't winning.  They haven't been for a while.

Edit:  Just to cover my rear, I don't subscribe necessarily to the political views and comments of these sites.

Edit2:  Also, not saying everything is perfect over there or everything is going swimmingly, so please don't come at me like I am saying that.

I saw 3 cats today

I'm a little jealous.

I started a diet two weeks ago. I didn't know who to listen to. Some say "eat less carbs!", some say "eat less fat" and some say "count your calories!". So I said screw it and just did it altogether! Now I'm eating mainly protein and I'm avoiding carbons and fat like it's the plague. On top of that I only eat 1.500 kcal a day. A nice salad with some chicken only has 350 kcal, so I'm good and not hungry at any time. Oh, and I also stopped drinking coke and I'm drinking water and only water.

And what can I say, this shit actually works! I lost nearly 9 kg in just two weeks, it's amazing! I mean, I know it's mainly water in this early stage, but I still feel better and just got a big motivation boost! I'm gonna continue this shit until I have reached my optimum weight of 71 kg, just 10 more kilograms to go. Then I'm gonna think about some nicely balanced diet for the future!

Bottom line: I feel good today! =D

The other day I was going to Jimmy John's...and some guy comes and asks me if I've heard the "good news". I was excited...thinking it was free sandwich day. He goes on tell me the about the good news of our Lord and Savior, and asks for me to grab his hands and say a prayer with him.

I'm somewhat religious...and don't have a problem with prayer. I am, however, not okay with holding hands with people I've only just met. I'm not a whore! So I tell him that I prefer to keep my relationship my God professional, and rush inside to get my sandwich. Don't get me started on my exit strategy.

Actually this isn't really good news at all.

Cool, anything specific in mind?

I'm looking to get a Ford Fusion 2016 or Cheverolet malibu but I think I prefer the Fusion.

I believe Ford has better reliability than Chevy and my parents went through crappy times with their Chevy Traverse (the delearship could never fix an air bag indicator light that would always go off).  If I were you I would go for the Ford.  You should look into the new Civics or Accords also.  The new Civics are finally starting to look semi decent after looking like crap from about 2006-13 or so.

I had a walk with my cousin catching some Pokemans. We had hot dog for dinner. Nice day; a pretty nice day.

Seems like the problem is you are catching mans and not mons.  Next time just try catching the guys in dreadlocks and you'll know for sure you are catching a mon and not a man.

Awesome, thanks for the advice I'm just hoping these cars will be reliable during the harsh Canadian winters.

I've looked at Honda cars but the Accord is bit too expensive for me. As for the Civic , its's the most popular car here, so it's insurance rates are kinda a rip off.
