Forums - Sony Discussion - Biggest issue(s) with Sony for you

Made a thread like this for Nintendo. Now it's Sony's turn!

My biggest issues with Sony are:

1) The Vita. As great of a handheld it is, they obviously didn't learn from the previous generation. From the day it launched to now, it's obvious that the Vita could have been handled much better.

2) There's such a large focus on the Western market. They have a lot of resources to help them appeal to Eastern markets as well.

3) Their phones look like bricks. Their phones aren't bad, but the way the phone is made makes it uncomfortable to hold.

Alright, that's about it from me :P Not a huge Sony fan(haven't had a Playstation console since PS2; had the PSP and Vita). The PS4 does look interesting though. Not sure if there's huge flaws any of you have realized.

Lack of options when it comes to online gaming. I mean, I have only really enjoyed (properly) about 3 or 4 games on PS+, now it's great to try them out sometimes but really, I'd prefer to pay just £5 for all year round gaming and get no games (in general against paid for online but understand it costs money to maintain).

Hmm, pie.

Ghostbusters.

I'm fine with everything else(playstation, phones, electronics etc), especially Sony Picture Classics.

But what they did to Ghostbusters is unfathomable. Doubt I will ever buy a Sony product ever again.

PS+, less interesting games compared to PS3 and online MP behind the paywall.
Their flagship phones are great, but nothing about them really stands out.
They never properly supported iPods on their consoles, I always wanted to plug my iPod to my PS3 and manage all my playlists from it, but never did.

Paying for their Online

Their press conferences generally have wayyyyyyy too much focus on boring indie games

Their phones look ugly

Vita's laughable Memory Card prices

It's too perfect a company it's so annoying.

Lack of backward compatibility (huge for me since I've been in their ecosystem since day one.)

DS4 build quality. Controller feels amazing, but degrades noticeably over time - a problem I never had with my PS3. I'm also playing WAY more than last gen so there's that

I know many companies who would like to have a word with you :P

- Lack of Vita support and expensive memory cards

...that's all I can think of but will update if I can think of more.

Dropping Vita support way to quickly (thank god Japanese and indie 3rd party developers love it as much as me though)
