Also guys, remember that during the summer sale, you can get three free trading cards each day just from checking your discovery queue (1 card each time you scroll through it). There's only 1 and a half day left, but you can still get 6 trading cards to sell on the market.

Since the sale ends tomorrow - this is the last day for the cards.

You wont get anymore after today.

Ah, wasn't sure exactly when the sale would end because the end time was in a different time zone that mine and I was too lazy to convert. Hoped I might be able to get anotehr 3 cards and dump them on the market quickly. Oh well :-3

Just crafted the Super Meat Boy lvl 1 badge. (also shameless bump)

Before I forget, I'm open to trade the following cards:

+Hitman Absolution: "Clean-up"
+Borderlands 2: "ZERO" & "MAYA"
+Bastion: "The Wilds" & "The Distillery"

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

It seems I can't use the card market. My last few Steam games were not bought ON Steam. Ugh.

So I turned my Summer cards into gems. What do I do with gems?

You can transform them into "booster packs", that consist of 3 game cards. But I don't know how many gems you need to make a booster pack.

How come? Did you see any disclaimer on the cards saying when or why it couldnt be sold on the market?

Its very high amount of gems. I think I have like around 100 but you need like 1000 or something.

You have to buy a game FROM Steam within a certain time-frame.  I've bought Steam games at retail and from GMG during that time but not from Steam.  I have several games that just miss that time-frame.  I bought games during the Summer Sale but you have to wait freaking 30 days before they count.

Looks like the amount of gems varies a lot.  I see 750 to 1200.  I have around 500.

Looking at the old games I've beaten that I didn't get cards for is kind of sad.

I guess I'll never make a booster pack.

So if you haven't bought games on Steam lately, they lock you out from the Steam trading card market? That's pretty crappy from Valve.

I bought most if not all my Steam games during a Sale, and there are several months between them.

I think it may be something else.

Huh - you were talking about the cards o.O?

So if you buy a game from a non-steam source - you have to wait 30 days before you can get cards?

No, you just can't use the market.  You have to buy a game from Steam between 30 days and 1 year and "with no recent chargebacks or payment disputes".  Like, I bought Fallout 4 at retail within that time but it doesn't count

Yeah, it does seem kind of crappy.  Even though I bought games, I have to wait 30 days before I can do anthing with the Summer Sale cards?  Eh.  I turned them into crystals because they made it sound like they would disappear.  Steam is really obtuse, perhaps on purpose.
