Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE reviews [82 on Metacritic]

Polygon loved it lol

Though I went into it skeptical about how well a popstar-themed blend of both the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei series might work, Tokyo Mirage Sessions never misses a beat. 9.5/10

I didnt expected that.

Ugh, aren't you lucky... I have to wait for mine to deliver whenever...

ShopTo in the UK are great its pretty much 90% chance for 1 day early and 10% chance for 2 days early and Tokyo mirage Sessions #FE turned out to be in the 10% :P

I wasn't really sure where this game would land critically, nice to see it doing well so far though. I can't even think about getting this game anytime soon though, too much backlog and not enough time.

It's not 90+/100 therefore it's a garbage game, truth. I'm also going on vacation for 2 weeks after I get the game so I can't even play it after I get it D-:

Great score! But I have to be consistent here: Polygon is a joke and its writers unprofessional.

So I have to treat that 9.5 with suspicion if not outright hostility

Good score, a lot better than I expected.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

It got a fare review on Famitsu but that was expected since its a JRPG. Sooo getting quite positive feedbacks are very nice here in the western countries.

Not sure if in going to buy it in a couple of weeks because I still haven't finished Fates and I only have 4-5 weeks of uni break. But I do want to get back on my Wii U.

Pocky Lover Boy!

I was worried the j-pop idol focused theme would put off reviewers but it seems to be a good game at its core. This should be good news for jrpg Wii U owners.

Good for jrpg, finally a WiiU game worth buying. Glad i held on to it.

Yes, because there hasnt been any other worthwhile WiiU game until today...

None that interest me sorry to say. Glad to finally have something interesting on the console.

It's definitely receiving better reviews than I expected. It seems a lot of the reviews are suggesting that it is a good bridge as we wait interminably for Persona 5, which is what I was hoping for.

I will definitely buy it when I go see my brother in a few weeks, since he has a Wii U.
