Breath of the wild vs Horizon Zero Dawn...

So I see this a lot on many forums. not from the people that are excited to play the new zelda, but from those who are excited to play Horizon. I see a lot of insecurity because zelda is getting more attention than horizon and "horizon shits all over the new overrated zelda on wii u, that zelda is not doing anything revolutionary just copying stuff from other games and adding the zelda formula" and my question is... why? why some people can't understand that zelda is a bigger franchise and of course that it's going to get more attention, and more this zelda because it's changing everything. I want to play horizon too, but zelda is my priority, that doesn't mean that i need to say zelda is going to be better and horizon is trash blah blah blah... that's more childish than Nintendogs and that make me cry like an anime fan on prom night.

But yea, I think its pretty silly. Both are gonna be great games and Horizon makes me want to get a ps4 asap but its hard to deny the influence Zelda has to everyone and how great that looked. Both games will do well and whoever buys them will make the players happy. Zelda just has decades of games where as Horizon is a new IP. Of course it will get more attention than the other, specially considering how long Nintendo fans have been waiting for another one!

They don't really like much alike. I guess they get compared because they're two hyped exclusive games, and these things tend to happen (Anyone remembers those days of Heavy Rain vs Alan Wake?).

As for me, I am very hyped for Breath of the Wild, but Horizon looks uninteresting so far.

i don't know why zelda fans or horizon fans would be annoyed because both games look great, anyway, i'm just pointing my own experience, i see a lot of people trashing the zelda game cause there's a lot of hype. not criticism, because it's true that some people are not feeling the game, but i'm talking about straight trashing and trolling.

There are people who don't like Nintendo games, and people who like Nintendo games but don't want to get Nintendo systems for some reason :S If BoTW came out on the PS4 you wouldn't see either camps complaining for the most part, especially the latter.
