PS4 & XB1 cumulative unit sales are currently 43% higher than PS3 & 360 aligned cumulative sales in the same timeframe.
Healthy sales.

It's including all SKUs, withouth the bundle.
USA was never big for Uncharted, and digital sales should be big for this one.
It's easy a big success Worldwide even with a non massive launch in USA at retail.

I think I'm gravely underestimating digital sales at this point. It's probably well above 20%.
The PS5 Exists.

Last-gen hardware is declining quickly, the Wii U and XBO are down (and the 3DS probably is, too), and there's been a price cut for the PS4. A 10% drop in hardware revenue isn't odd. Really, the PS4 & XBO should be used as the primary metrics for the overall health of the console market, which is why I have PS+Xbox sales comparison charts. |
Yeah, ZhugeEX says the main reason is the decline of last gen consoles and handhelds.

The ASP of next gen HW was also down this month, unit sales stable.
Last gen & portable spend was down.
Hardware sales dollar sales decreased by 10 percent overall, the majority of the decline in sales stemmed from portables, down $7.3MM and 7th generation hardware, down $5MM. Eighth generation hardware unit sales were stable, but dollar sales decreased by 2 percent or $3MM due to a decrease in average price for these consoles.
