Imagine that you have the power to make more games for one of this two franchises.

The iconic Sony mascot that Activision keeps locked in their basement, probably inside a box with the Gimp, and the crazy PSOne classic game about catching monkeys with a net by the clever use of Dual Analog Sticks that Sony introduced.

Which one would you pick?

Hard choice for me. Love both franchises.

Never played Ape Escape, so Crash. I would be a bit worried about it though because I love the original and that gameplay might be a bit outdated for todays standards.

Well since Activision own said "iconic" mascot I would have to go with Ape Escape as Sony actually still owns that IP. If Crash were to come back it would be multiplat (which would honestly thrive more in the long run).

At the end of the day Crash is just a generic platformer. Ape Escape is a more fun concept.

Think realistically here. Activision are just sitting on Crash Bandicoot. They're never going to part with it, nor will they use it. Naughty Dog should still have the rights seeing as how it's pretty much the start of Naughty Dog. Sure there was that fighting game and Rings of Power, but Crash really was the start of it all. But, it's not in Naughty Dogs style to hang onto stuff like that and drag it on. All good things must come to an end and then they want to try something new. Naughty Dog want to keep moving forward.

Thus, Ape Escape is more likely, seeing as how Sony still owns the IP rights.
