As we know pretty much know, the Wii U game lineup is all but finalised. There are people gutted there wasn't a "proper" 3D Mario. I loved 3D World. There are people gutted there isn't going to be an exclusive Wii U Zelda. I couldn't care less, we got a great Donkey Kong and a great Pikmin!

However, Wii U for me has lacked what is an intrinsically essential title in Europe. There hasn't been a Mario Football game.

Mario Smash Football, and it's sequal, Charged, actually took over from Mario Kart in my social circle as ultimate party games. The Wii U not getting one, has led to FIFA becoming dominant again, and it really saddens me.

I really thought the Wii U would be the perfect system for a full update to the GameCube title. Yes Charged is better in every way, but Wii wasn't much more advanced than the GameCube. So it would have been the first next generation Mario Football title. I really hope NX gets it. Tbh it would single handedly make the NX a must buy console for me. Given the European sales of Charged, it wouldn't suprise me if a lot of other people would find it a system seller.

For me the biggest disappointments are there being no Metroid or F-Zero games on the Wii U.

Not my biggest disappointment (that'd be Paper Mario) but I agree I so wanted a Wii U version with how awesome Charged was! I mean come on it had the best theme ever!

Luigi was my favourite character, and his theme tune was amazing!!!

Man I really hope NX gets a full Mario Strikers title. I can't believe it's nearly 10 years since we had one.

I generally like Yoshi and Daisy more, but for this game I mained Luigi aswell simply because of that god tier theme!

Yeah we really need another especially since Charged can't be played online anymore.

Well you cant play any of the games without a wiimote, so why would you want to access it?
