Forums - Sony Discussion - Video Comparing GT:Sport directly to GT6

That was for the people who are going to point out the lack of some random detail and act as though the game were in a finished state.

Beyond that, car modeling in GTS is way better, draw distance is way better, and environmental detail is way better.  Hard to judge much besides that in a youtube video.

After seeing this video and hearing what they intend to do I have total faith in the team to deliver a great GT.

However there are just two things I am questioning... the single player content / career mode and the music. Remembering back to the GT2 and 3 days the soundtracks were incredible, I just want something reminiscent of that.

That would be 10/10 for me.

I didn't pick up GT6 but my biggest complaints about the GT series, including GT5, were that the career mode didn't feel important or immersive and that the menu system sucked.  I've always played with my own music but I can understand that the soundtrack is important to others.

As for GTS, I think the focus might be eSports more than anything.  It's fine if that's what they want with this particular game but if the single player content isn't there then I'll wait for GT7.  The quality, though, I think that's going to be excellent.  I have little doubt about that.

GTS looks just like on the concept pictures i posted prior for this level, the other levels sure will improve in the final game

This should serve as a good reminder of just what PS3 Gran Turismo looked like to those who were trash talking GTS.

GTS is already looking great, and it will look much better come launch, and especially with the Neo optimized settings.

Both the menus and the music are far better on GT6 than 5.
The career mode is good as well, IMO.
Should have picked 6 XP

I havn't played since GT3, so I am really thirsty to play one! LOL

Wow, that is the most realistic lighting I've ever seen.

Seriously, this game looks like real life.

I want to add I also really liked the music on GT2 as you said to pokoko earlier XD
GT6 is such a great game, sad so many people missed it, it fix a lot of annoyances from 5, that's the one most people played on PS3.

Why don't you get 6? It's pretty cheap nowdays XP (if you have a PS3, of course xD)

GT2 did have some awesome music.  Super Bon Bon was my adrenaline rush song and I loved that trailer with My Favorite Game.

GT3 music was also good.  Turtle Lover (some people say Turbo Lover) was a fun driving song and 99 Red Balloons made for suprisingly good driving music.

The people bashing this saying it doesn't look much better than gt6 are the same people who talked shit about uncharted 4 visuals when they showed the first gameplay demo at psx 2013. Basically their opinion is irrelevant.

This is a phenomenal improvement and the great news is the final version will be better. I still think sport is effectively a prologue to GT7 but they didn't name it that so it would sell more. clever idea if true.

Looks amazing to me especially for a game aiming for 1080p at 60 frames and hasn't even hit beta stage yet. I have my Logitech G29 steering wheel and shifter ready for it :)

It's a shame they didn't do a remaster or cross gen version on ps4. I would have bought GT6 again. The reason I stopped playing it is for the long load times and painful patching process. The game was great, yet a quick online race was impossible. I really hope they spend some effort on loading and joining online lobies this time. It was so annoying to watch the time to race start tick away while still loading, then miss the race by a hair with the slow car selection process or get denied because of some invalid setting which it could have reset automatically. At least let me practice on the track while a race is going with who ever else missed the race start.

The career and menus were improved over GT5, online was still a mixed bag.
