Theres something else they can also do if they want wich is Age of apocalypse. But deadpool is already using cable. :x

I think this film would have been called Age of Apocalypse if it wasn't for Age of Ultron. Then Ultron never has had a superb story named directly after him while AoA is iconic to Poccy. If the secret ending is anything to go by, I can see them doing mutant massacre story.

How much was Jennifer Lawrence in it?
I like the girt but man she's annoying after a while.

She's basically the big name/draw in these films (right?) so a lot of it. She spent a lot of time not in Mystique form too, mainly JL form.

Actually not. McAvoy and Fassbender were listed before her.

I like her... but mystique isn't the X-men for her. She's too nice.

Part of my gripe in the OP was that the Mystique character in this is majorly out of character compared to the comics. Hardly all for herself at all.

Hmm, pie.

Went to watch this with my friends and we walked away half asleep and bored to death. Maybe it was the midweek midnight showing after a long day at work, maybe it was the 2.5hrs+ length of film, maybe it was the story dragging on too long and the end overstaying it's welcome.

******* maybe Spoilery ********

The end felt like a Bollywood film / bad anime. Characters almost dying, but fighting hard for a comeback, before being almost defeated again and making a comeback, almost like a leveling up to unleash a power attack, the Magneto sob story with Quicksilver being forced or the ending wouldn't work.

The film felt like such a huge let down after DoFP and JL totally ruined Mystique.

For me, there was only one character that bought joy to an otherwise very average film, Quicksilver. For me everything about this film was forgettable outside of his scenes, especially the Xavier mansion one. That scene alone probably beats any Avengers and DC scene to date.

*spoilers*

That is because Apocalypse is pretty much invinceble. It took the power of another "god" to defeat him.
