With our personal data slowly becoming intertwined with life, a large debate has grown over the years- do we want freedom or security?
Here's an example. You're a 70 year old man with heart conditions. There's a neat device that let people monitor you and immediately come to you with an ambulance if you click the emergency button. However, doing so will mean they will always know where you are. Do you pick:
-The denial of the service to assure you have all your rights?
-The acceptance of the service in case anything happens to you.
There's probably better examples, but those are the few on the top of my head. The recent "Apple VS FBI" courtcase involving the iPhone of the San Fernando shooter is a real-life example you could most likely wrap your head around as well. If you don't know anything about it, I recommend searching online on Reddit or Wiki. It's a slightly long event to write down
One thing to mention is that this topic is unavoidable. Technology is quickly merging with life for the modern world. Even if we ignore the question, we will walk upon it eventually.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.
