Forums - Sales Discussion - Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster sold 800K copies

Those are some good numbers, it shows people still care about the franchise.

I bought it but haven't played it yet. Need to find some time for it.

I'm surprised you only like Monster Hunter from them. Have you tried anything aside from that and Resident Evil? Like, I dunno, Okami? Phoenix Wright? Street Fighter? Dragon's Dogma? Dead Rising? Asura's Wrath? Remember Me? Lost Planet? Ghost Trick? Onimusha?

I've played Okami, Phoenix Wright, SF, Dead rising before.  Capcom is honestly a shit company in my opinion. It's good that they sold800k from resident evil 0 but that series has been milked to death. SFV had a lackluster launch, and DR3 wasn't as good and the other two. Phoenix Wright and Okami are good series but honestly there nothing huge.

Phoenix Wright is an absolute badass.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Is it any good? I've only played revelations 2 episode 1 and Re4 and really liked both. Should I get RE0

It'll most likely be overshadowed when Resident Evil 4 and 5 get Xbox One and PS4 Remasters near the end of the year. I know i'll be picking them up.

I'm still fairly new. I hope nobody flogs me for not being able to hide my links behind text quite yet. But if you have time, check out my YouTube Channel!!!

Capcom's latest remaster, Resident Evil 0 HD, has sold approximately 800,000 copies, the publisher has announced as part of its latest earnings report [PDF]. The game launched in January this year, and Capcom's reporting period ended March 31, so this only counts copies sold through then.

Additionally, Capcom mentioned the 800,000 figure when it was specifically talking about digital games. As such, this number may not include copies of the game sold via the Resident Evil Origins Collection, a physical bundle that included not only Resident Evil 0 HD, but also the Resident Evil 1 remaster.

Wait, what? This is only digital numbers? If it sold 62k on Steam, then the rest is from consoles? And that's not even including physical? Does Resident Evil not sell on PC?

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

I wonder how many people finished it though....
I bought it, and one, but i just couldn't get into them due to the controls... They're just so ancient lol. Quite dissapointing. Still the sales show that the resident evil brand is still strong, not surprising really.

Not bad, could be a multi million seller life time.

If Capcom spent much of this gen just porting good games from previous generations, I'd be okay with that. I'd gladly buy a remaster of God Hand, one of the greatest games ever.

As much as I'd like you to try this game, it is different from the forth and revelation. I'm not saying it is a bad game, only different style. I like both styles.

if you want games similar games to 4, you can play the first revelation or RE 5. I bought RE 6 Remaster on Xbox One but still haven't played it.
