I think you are UNDER-estimating the potential of Uncharted 4.

The game has been on the 1st place on Amazon for more than a week now.

No game has done this this gen, none.

If you follow the Amazon charts, you should know that when something gets on top of the PSN cards in the Top 3 (which are the staple), the shit gets real.

This will be, without an once of doubt in my mind, The Best selling game in Naughty Dogs history.

Gears and Uncharted history wise sell very similar numbers. But due to the PS4 having twice the install base it is a no brainer however if both consoles sold similar numbers then expect the same last gen.

I don't know... Could be more than double, realistically. Gears is a dwindling franchise, a new developer is making 4, and there are already twice as many PS4s in peoples' homes.

Not sure if I'm heavily underestimating Uncharted but I don't see it selling more than 10M like some people says. Sure it will have a big launch, probably a lot bigger than the first three games & Tlou but will probably have worse legs as well. That said, I can see UC4 landing in the 7-8M range, in the case Gears sees a big drop like Halo it will be enough to double its sales

I wont argue about  a sell being a sell, but your not necessarily correct. The original release of TLoU did about 6mill which is in line with rest of ND's other games. It was re-released on PS4, as we know re-releases are majority bought by people who bought the game before. No version has come more than halfway to reaching 10mill. When it comes trying to pinpoint growth in a series the original release is the most important.  

Exactly and people need to understand that this is the first original release of UC4. It Might hit 10m if its remastered for the NEO. But on average, ND games tend to sell 5m to 6m and considering the hype and bundling, id say UC4 will hit 7m and maybe 8m life time.

We'll see, then. But there will come a point where you can't buy a PS4 without a free copy of U4. It's a great game. 10/10 and a showcase if what the console can do but after its initial run, it will be heavily bundled just like ND Collection, TLoU, and U3. THEN it will likely cross 10 million. 

Time will tell. It's just a guess.....

Double is possible yes. Its gonna come down to reviews, and enthusiasm. Also, Gears will be launching aroung a ton of high profile releases. How many will turn around and get Battlefield the following week or vise versa. Also there is the curious case of Judgment. I think this game may be able to overcome series fatigue.

Part of the reason I got my 360 was for gears of war. That and Mass Effect. After Gears of War 3 though I was done with that series. I never even tried to play judgement and I could care less about this new one. I'm sure tons of people still love Gears but I think it's main issue will be series fatigue.

People saying Uncharted 4 will sell ovver 10 million with bundles that's true, that's why the series has sold so well and became so popular. Uncharted 1 & 2 were heavily bundled with PS3 and when I bought one I didn't have an option of not buying a PS3 without Uncharted 2. Its not God Of War which sells almost entirely without bundles.

That said bundles are a part of sales and they are added to sales of every game so why should this not be included? Gears Of War UE also sold so much due to bundles. Uncharted 4 will sell well even without bundles though because the hype is through the roof. Even casuals are aware of this release and people who never played the series are excited for Uncharted 4 for reasons I don't understand but yes that's what I've been seeing.
