Angry Birds is now at 58% on Rotten tomatoes. I can't believe it's gone up from its starting point. If it stays in the 50s Ass creed and WoW have no chance.

And I think the majority of the western reviewers won't like Kingsglaive one bit. So while FF fans might think it's the best movie of 2016, if a decent number of RT reviewers even bother watching it the RT score will likely be below 50%.

I think you really underestimate the warcraft movie.

Its got a great director behind it. Its got a great lore behind it. Its got the right special/Vfx effects and motioncapture studios behind it. Its got the budget and it has shown some great scenes already.

You better watch out with your prediction :D

Assassins Creed and Warcraft will be the movies to watch, not this. I've been having issues with interest with this film since I watched the trailer. I think Warcraft will lose to Assassins Creed though. In Michael Fassbender we trust.

From what I've seen of Warcraft, it looks pretty generic and uninspiring. Lore is meaningless in terms of movie quality. We have loads of examples of movies based on ancient mythological lore which are complete crap. And those are based on lore that is generally well known and can be taken as read by the vast majority of the potential audience. No one knows the WoW lore except for WoW players, and that's not a big enough audience to make the movie profitable. Indeed what's more likely to happen is what lore they do cover in the movie will not satisfy fans of the IP, and will not give enough information to the unfamiliar audience.

The advantage of Angry Birds is it has no lore other than pigs bad, birds good. Which gives licence to the writers to create their own world and basically only use the name of the game and the games artwork as a template.

Also Angry birds is not for us (gamers) its pure casual family fare. I don;t really expect anyone around here to want to see the movie, I don;t want to see Angry birds. But clearly it's striking a reasonable note with non-gamer reviewers, and IMO they better have the pulse of the general movie public than people who inhabit gaming websites. Also, in the international box office Angry Birds has alreafdy grossed $43 million. It's on the road to a decent gross.

looking at cast, story , director , trailer , Assassins Creed will be easily the best one .

The warcraft movie covers the lore of the first warcraft game. So noone has to have any idea about the lore. There is so much budget in this movie it is not made for the audience of the games, its for the masses.

From what I have seen the fans are going to love it and the audience is in for a treat, because its not going to get crazy with complicated lore :)
