I think TLOU is the best game they have ever made, but its still not a masterpiece.

People who say TLoU is not a masterpiece can never explain why with facts and just say its their opinion or use their own personal taste with no solid argument. The game is a masterpiece because it does everything flawlessly from it's gameplay, design, sound, story and all the way down to it's narrative and concept. No game in a long time has captivated the gaming community on every level in a long time. Saying it is not a masterpiece just because you don't understand what makes it a masterpiece is not a solid opinion.

Well then it's settled, unless there are 2 others 8, it will stay at 94

giant bomb review is going to bring a lot of discussion on other sites because apparently the one that reviewed uncharted 4 was an uncharted fan while the one that rated QB wasn't a fan of the genre.  the guy that rated QB got more hate than the whole site as a whole.

Saying my opinion is not solid is an incorrect statement. I don't wish to go any further why I don't think its a masterpiece as you have already made your mind that "what I think is right is right, any other opinion is crap".

Not score related, but it's a nice touch from Naughty Dog, somewhere in the ending credits you'll see the line:

"With sincere and deep gratitude to Amy Hennig for her contributions to the Uncharted franchise,"

People keep forgetting that IGN's 8.8 isn't the final score. It's a place holder until they finish the multiplayer. Besides, I only expect Quarter to Three to really give it a score lower than 8. EDGE is likely to hand it a higher mark.

Well she already played the Beta and the 8.8 reflects that. I doubt there's much that's going to change especially since she completed the campaign. I don't think we can expect anything of Quarter to Three. Giving The Last of Us 6/10 makes you completely unreliable and unexpected. I too doubt EDGE will be lower than 8 but too many 8s can lower a score pretty quickly.

By the way, I'm more than happy with the reviews and ND for doing it again. The are one of the few developers out there that can put out high quality games consistently. I can't wait for a teaser of the last of us 2. that game needs to be revealed this year.

All I need is an insanely scary looking clicker suddenly popping up. Just a black screen, no sound, and suddenly BAM, clicker! end of teaser.

I think you shouldn't bring some people's opinion down just because they don't expand further. If he doesn't consider TLoU to be a masterpiece, then let him be. Not everyone was captivated the same way with the game. I personally put Uncharted 2 above The Last of Us.
