Oh nah, it was over other things, they just allowed their distinct displeasure for each other to surface throughout a great many topics in life.  Mac vs PC was one of the bigger ones.

Trackpads have nothing to do with Windows. That has everything to do with PC manufacturers If you want the best trackpad you look for the manufacturer that makes the best ones available on a laptop outside of Apple.

Personally I can't stand track pads.I always disable them even when using a Mac, a mouse is infinitely better and second to that is the little stick/nipple in the middle of a keyboard.

Fixed the title to be more accurate as Windows is an OS (which MacBook can run and its trackpad functions are supported) and therefore doesn't 'make' trackpads, and the only trackpads Microsoft makes are for its Surface Book and Surface Pro Keyboards.
