So early reviews are already in and some critics are calling it the best Marvel film to date, and that both Spider-Man and Black Panther are the standout stars. My prediction is for it to settle between TWS and TA at around 90% RT score. 

It also looks like the Marvel/Sony deal will work out very well. Marvel will get their 'X-Factor' in Spiderman, which will help spread good WOM. Sony will be getting a ton of goodwill towards their Spiderman reboot, something they desperately needed after the last film. I strongly believe the next one will be the first one to crack the billion dollar mark. If Marvel are indeed handling most of the creative decisions, while Sony are just making most of the money, then I'm fine with that.

I am so frikkin hyped for this. Seriously it looks like it's gonna be so insanely good. I've convinced my dad to see it with me, so I'm currently watching through the entire MCU with him so that he will be up to speed

Are those the prescreening scores, or has the movie been released already?

Iron Man 2 was dull, and 3 was just bad. Thor 2 wasn't bad, but what they did with the Dark Elves, making them space aliens with ships and lasers, was just stupid, and the movie itself overall was "meh". Even Avengers 2, after the first one being so good, was kind of a mess, and they made Ultron a very uncompelling villain, which was sad.

So basically I'm banking off the fact that Cap 2 was REALLY good, arguably the best Marvel Universe movie yet, and that these directors know what they're doing, and using that to hold out optimism that they'll also make Cap 3 good. Or perhaps that they'll even get Avengers back on track and both parts of 3 (Hollywood these days lol), will also be good again.

But yes, short version: I am allowing myself to be at least mildly hyped for this, and I hope that it doesn't disappoint.

Pre-screening. So events set up by Disney. Not sure how reliable these are.

I believe these are the scores from the critic pre-screenings last week. The embargo ended yesterday. The premier was also yesterday plus people at Cinemacon were treated to a screening of it as well. We will start to get fan reviews later today from people lucky enough to get into the early fan screenings.

These 3 weeks are going to be a long wait ;-;

This is the golden age of Comicbook movies afterall. There's no stopping this train. I'll be seeing all 6 CB movies this year. It has to be truly bad like the latest FF movie for me not to see it.
