All 3 games are good, but the older ones are cheaper. The 2 has a release on Ps4. While 1 should be played on ps3.

What BraLod said although its not just because its my favorite its also because if you really wanna play all the games you should just start in order.

Edit: Also DeS wont take you 9 months to beat, you can beat it in 1 or 2 months tops, no way you need more time for that unless you really die a LOT XD.

Nope. Go for Dark Souls III! You won't be missing plot details, since they are not 100% directly connected. And the lore is really up to you to discover... so you can easily play DSIII before I or II. Not a big deal.
