Maybe the PSVR?

The PSVR has been getting the Top Spot every time its available on Amazon.

And yes, there are (way) more bundles for the Xbox One, but none of the are moving needles.

The Quantum Break bundle was ranked in the thousands not so long ago, that is literally irrelevant in the sales count.

The PSVR's price was announced on the 15th...

Also, you need to remember this increase already started on the week ending march 12th for the PS4. While The Division did launch, how did sales increase 71%, when XB1 sales only increased 74% with marketing and a bundle? Once again, the numbers don't add up. And the PS4 bundle has been in the same place since the beginning of the year, so why would sales suddenly increase by large amounts? Yes, amazon is good at predicting a winner in the NPD, but it has been way off before in terms of a gap. So using amazon as your only source really a good way to determine sales.

Either way, I'm hoping for the NPD to give us something at least, or perhaps a leak. Something is better than nothing

The Division did nothing in terms of bumping up the Xbox One.

The bundle never entered the Top 100, and the game was outsold by the Ps4 version all the time.

All the Xbox One bundles of this year have failed to move needles, the best selling bundle for the Xbox One is still the Gears Remastered one.

I believe it is currently out of stock.

The Ps4 is ranked at 9, behind the likes of Dark Souls 3 (Ps4 version) and the PSN cards, which is a great position to be.

Like i said, there is nothing written in stone, Sony will not disclose numbers this NPD so all it remains is believing in VG or not.

Because as has been shown through the gen thusfar (Fallout, Witcher, etc) the marketing bundles aren't actually doing enough for XB1.  Games continue to sell better on PS4, even in US, regardless of the bundling and marketing.

Fallout 4 was competing with COD and BO3 in terms of bundle's, and the witcher had no bundle's and virtually no marketing in NA. I'm also talking about hardware sales, not software.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Because you don't seem to realise that PS4 now increase the gap more than before. Last year in USA it has won on November/December and it was Halo 5's year

Why would sales increase by such a large margin because of a product that's launching months away from now? I'm sure existing PS4 owners are excited for this, but we already knew it was launching this year.

Look, no one can say for certain what'll happen unless we get NPD numbers, but so far neither mine or your argument mean nothing. It could be both ways, and I can accept that. But I seem to think that its either vgchartz increasing sales because it undertracked before, or that is just overtracking. Those are the only two ways I believe in such high numbers

I can see that.

What caused the jump in ps4 sales? There is nothing I can think of that was released by Sony on their PS4 around that week or before.

PSVR could have some effect, but its hard to believe its doing 2:1 against the XB1 in NA with nothing else to show for the month.

You are seriously underestimating the release of the Playstation Exclusive MLB: The Show 16.

The game is ranked at 5.

It is selling better than any game on the list.

Then I simply can't believe in such numbers. I don't have access to US numbers for other sites, so I can't use that as an argument, but you can't use the division bundle as an argument on amazon, as it pretty much went off sale very quickly, meaning it was likely limited on that site. Also since the Gears bundle went off sale, of course its position decreased! It only went back on sale today, and its position already increased by ten spots.

We'll see the numbers soon, but guarentee you the gap won't come close. I can even bet on it...

Virtually no marketing?  You and I clearly watch different programming then.  Witcher commercials were prevalent on television for me.

You can't take software sales out of hardware sales the way you seem to want to.  People buy the hardware to play the software.  This gen thusfar people have shown that they are willing to buy the PS4 and then the software not bundled in order to buy new games like The Division, and Fallout 4.  It has also shown that people are willing to see an XB1 commercial for a game like The Witcher and go out and find it on PS4 instead.

Games can sell alot on software, but not move hardware. Why would you say a sports game would increase PS4 hardware sales?

There is simply no competition, this is some iPhone vs all other cell phone type shit back before android was a thing....... outsold all other hardware combined. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Do you forget that the casual market exists?  There is an entire segment of people who buy video game systems SOLELY to play sports games.  A lot of those people will have bought a new PS4 to play the new baseball game.  Next year, the same thing will happen with a new group of casual sports gamers.  It's why you see hardware upticks around Madden, MLB, and FIFA.

Exactly. I thought the argument was that Exclusives didnt move consoles, Multiplatfors games did.

And now Software Sales are Irrelevant to the Console Sales?

I dont want to be pedantic, but the back and forth of some arguments are mind boggling.
