Anyone here actually try any of the headsets? I'm curious.

I can't since there isn't really a place on my island for me to test one out and I;m not diving into pre-ordering one for a few years, there is this take for the Vive though:

Seems interesting but not sure VR will make for good games. Maybe when the tech is better. Time will tell.

Ehh...I don't like Angry Joe...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

That's why I'm giving it a few years before I consider diving in.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Why don't you get a 20$ headset for your phone?

Wise decision.

I use my old Lumia for texts and calls only, I'm thast old fashioned and I also don't care for mobile VR let alone mobile gaming unless it's Cut the rope. The stores I also have are limited and haven't got anything VR related let alone the latest Samsung Galaxy model.

I think Joe hit the nail on the head though: "cockpit" based games are the main selling point right now.  They transition really easily to VR since you at as someone sitting in a chair anyway.  If you aren't super into things like EVE Valkyrie, Hawken, Project Cars, and similar games, VR is worth waiting to pick up.  Especially since there are few VR-centric games.

Vive and PSVR for me.

I'm not sure why, but Oculus just isn't doing it for me. My experience with Vive was much better.

Not really interested about VR, but if I was I wouldn't listen to angry joe's opinion.

Yeah, was listening to SDGC last week and Burford was on after GDC and was saying something about the fuzziness of PSVR compared to Oculus and Vive....

I was in on day one but after that and the PS4K rumours, now I will wait and see which one I'll pick up first. Leaning towards a PS4K ATM. Maybe both depending on reviews...
