Probably. Though they should have 3, as just about every premium smartphone has a min of 3GB of ram.

iOS doesn't need 3 GB RAM. It runs fluid as hell on my 5s with 1 GB.

iPhone SE looks sexy as hell! This is exactly what I have been waiting for! I wanted to upgrade my 5s for some time now, but I was always turned off by the 4.7 inch Display of the 6s. That's just too big for me, 4 inch fits perfectly in my hands and I very often use my phone with just one hand. So I am so gonna get this one! It will be 589 € around here with 64 GB, but screw it, it's the perfect smartphone for my needs! =D

Android is not an option.

No mention of how much ram it packs. 2gb would be my guess, just like the 6s and the 6s plus.

I have the 6S and the amount of applications I can have simultaneously running is actually quite impressive.

If this is basically the 6s in a smaller package, then sure. It means I don't need to worry about my phone becoming obsolete after owning it only two months.

No, they shouldn't. Every premium smartphone released in 2015 had a process that was no match to the A9, and the storage is twice the speed of other flagships. Thank god Apple doesn't follow the rest when it comes to specs, eh?

It was the fatest phone in 2015. And guess what? the 6S/SE is faster Galaxy s 7 and will be faster than every other premium Android phone releasing in 2016. (look up A9 vs Snapdragon 820)

Eh. I'm not an apple fan by any means. This is just an incremental phone until one of two things happens:

the next nexus by Google comes out

or

Sony makes Xperia relevent in the US.

I know for sure at least one of those is happening at the end of this year, and didn't see the point in sitting on my upgrade for that long with the outdated Moto x. With that in mind I've been pleasantly surprised with the 6s but there's definitely things that Android OS does better (and worse).

Android and iOS become similar with every update. I wasn't saying the iPhone is better, I was just pointing out that his statement was kind of silly. Other premium phones have more RAM, that doesn't Apple should include more RAM for the heck of it.

I totally agree with you. A critical flaw in thinking has people looking at hardware specs while ignoring the software side of things. Efficiency/Optimization is a painfully real thing, it's incredibly important, and it's constantly a topic lost in the never ending battle zone that is technology.

"Our 4 inch iPhones are an important part of our lineup. We sold over 30 Million 4 inch iPhones in 2015."

and the last 4 inch iPhone was released in 2013.

That's a lot of interest for an ancient device. It's smart to give the 4-inch iPhones a specs boost for those who are interested.

Given that fact this makes a lot of sense. Only worry though is they sold that many because it's old tech therefore cheap. If they're going to spend $400 on a phone they may not want 4 inches.

5s was sold for 450$ in 2015.

The SE is cheaper and much more powerful, and it supports Apple Pay.

Besides the size, the only difference between SE and 6s is the lack of 3D touch, and probably less RAM?
