I was looking for the 2 guys you talking about and I realized all of them have might be playing rock, paper, scissors! I might be looking to into it, but that's but those are the only hand symbols lol.

That one panel gets me in the sides every single time. The anime and manga relationship is pretty sad to hear about. Again, I really hope the mangaka can bounce back. There's defintely an audience for his work.

Also yes! I just read it and Nanatsu no Taizai (the ending of the chapter was a decent enough payoff for the arc).

But wow The Promised Neverland knocked it put of the park.

I did NOT see that coming. I thought they would have to fight their way through bridge for a few chapters, but nope. Great thing too because those guys were packing giraffe demons. GIRAFFE DEMONS! The bottle rockets were a nice touch (I wanted to make a joke about Cola >>>> Pepsi in saving the day, but it was soap bottles :T ).  That one moment with Norman and Ray was extremely sad, but satisfying. More than anything it really showed how much Emma contributed to the plan in ways neither could. It says the next chapter ends the escape arc. I wonder if we get a timeskip or an arc in the outside world next. One thing I noticed when looking at the giraffe demons was that aside from the mama and the scientists, there was a third human with the demons that had a pole, so I'm wondering what their role is. Anyway all in all, excellent chapter.

*The children's day piece was funny and sad at the same time. I wonder if there was hint in the nature of the demons when it was reading the book.

Oh dang, nice catch on the Rock-Paper-Scissors. Now I realize why some look happy and some look upset. Soma vs. Erina is a nice nod to how their marriage will turn out >D

Yeah, Neverland was fantastic this week. Don't underestimate these kids!

My throat got tight as fuck during the Norman/Ray convo. That guy is real MC...it's amazing how far ahead he planned.

Just hope the escape arc finishes with no more kids dying. I'm also curious what will happen next. The manga has basically been written around this escape...so not sure what's next. Maybe they'll meet the guy with the owl stamp? Hmm...

Started on a series titled Tensei Shitara Kendeshita.  Five chapters are out so far.

It's about a guy from our world who gets killed and wakes up in a fantasy world.

Yes, I know that sounds like a dozen other manga out right now but this one a little different--the guy wakes up as a sword.  A very powerful sword but still a sword.  He meets a small cat-girl slave who is running from a monster.  It looks like they're going to team up.

Yeah, I was gonna say, "That sounds like Konosuba", but that bit about the MC being brought back as a sword makes it more interesting. The setting sounds like a standard fantasy set up, but I never get tired of it. Plus, the ones I was reading stopped being updated, so I could use another story like this.

Well, I gobbled up Tensei Shitara Kendeshita and I gotta say, it was really fun to read. I really like the unlikely duo of the sword and cat girl, makes for some really interesting main characters. The story seems pretty standard so far, but I'm okay with that. It's nice to read a simple video game RPG like story, and I'd love to see Fran and the sword grow into strong characters... If the story gets updated that is...

I hope the manga does keep going.  It was a bit iffy at first but I really liked the vibe when they reached the Guild.  Fran is adorable and her reactions are pretty funny, too.  I'd really like to see where this is going, since she's so over-powered for her level (well, it's not really her that's powerful).

Poor guy when he found out his Attk Pwr was lower than a Mithril dagger, though.

The only small complaint I have is that it's rather gruesome for a moe/comedy story.

Yeah, the tone in the 1st chapter painted a very different picture for the manga. I was expecting something a little more serious, considering how graphic the opening was. It quickly changes to a more light hearted story (minus the sword still slicing a lot of monsters).  I won't mind if those moments remain in the manga, as long as it's impactful to the story, rather than just have it there for the sake of it.

Also, new Again!! is up, featuring more of the girlasaurus, haha~

We Can't Study is pretty good so far (I'm 4 chapters in).  It's about a high school student who gets high grades by studying hard.  He's the type that doesn't learn easily so he puts in a great deal of effort.  Unfortunately, he gets totally out-classed in science/math and in literature by two genius students who don't even have to try.

Of course, they're also cute girls.

The literature girl is terrible in math/science, however, and the math/science girl is terrible in literature.  Guess who has to tutor them in order to get a highly valued recommendation?

Nice, I had my eye on this one. The premise seemed cute, and the author used to write a spin-off for a manga I like. Was waiting it out a bit, since it's in Jump, and didn't want to get attached before it got cancelled suddenly for not pulling One Piece or Naruto numbers. Seems like it's doing decently well though, so maybe it's time to give it a look-see.

It's mostly a gag-type manga so far with the main character playing straight-man to the girls.  That it will have rom/com elements seems a given.  It's moving kind of fast right now and the premise seems limited so I have no idea how long this is going to last.  Of course, other manga in the past have dragged out high school to last decades, so who knows.

Science girl (the short one) is super cute, though.

Oh ho, I recognize that art style. It's the same guy who did Magical Patissier Kosaki-chan. I've heard about this from Super Boom, I think. The art style is definitely cute and clean, and this looks fun. Good to see the artist has moved on to other works.
