650.000 Pre ordes in USA for a remake game? Twilight princes? WTF?

Yes. A lot of people bought on the Wii instead of GC so some may want to play without the motion controls. So never played it at all. Just want to play it again. Others are collectors. Its not that much of a suprise when you look at other first party remasters this gen. Including WW HD

Look at the last few zelda games and half or sometimes more than half of their sales are from the united states. So as a huge zelda fan i must thank the americans for keeping the series relevant (in nintendo's eyes) since Japan isn't interested anymore and sales in europe are just average.

If that´s true, then the game is going to sell A LOT xD
I read somewhere that it had even more preorders (close to 850.000).
I have preordered the standard version and the special edition. I still haven´t decided yet which one to buy, and if I really need to pay more just for a cd (which is not the full soundtrack, that would have been sweet) and an amiibo I don´t like at all

Until OoT 3D it was the highest selling multi-platform Zelda. People seem to give Wind Waker the credit for being stylish and charming, but forget how popular Twilight Princess was at the time.
