Forums - Sales Discussion - UK Charts - week ending 20th Feb 2016

Living in the UK I saw 0 TV, radio, newspaper or street advertising of Street Fighter V. It was like the game didn't exist.

didn't expect that tbh

The bad sales of SFV are trully deserved.

You can´t charge 70 euros for an incomplete game and expect that the people will go to buy it like hotcakes. The release of a title in that state is a freaking joke to the costumer.

The majority of gamers that play fighting games are hardcore gamers. They are in the know so if you pull a stunt like this, it has a higher chance of back firing.

Street boma. It sold less than tomb raider on xb1 in the UK

Capcom only have themselves to blame.

Yeah, keep pretending what I mean.

Are you somehow confusing a game that is majority physical because its exclusive to buyers that buy mostly physical (Halo 5), with a game that is split between a digital and physical fanbase (SFV)?

You do know the physical of the PC version of SFV is very low of this list, right? So I don't think there is a "majority" of sales of this game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a Masterpiece, the shame is on the consumer.

Street Fighter V is an Incomplete Game from every angle, the shame is on Capcom.

Im just glad we gamers know better than that, we cant allow any developer to put that kind of stunts like that. It should create a very negative precedent.

Can you imagine Ubisoft doing stuff like this in the future?

Thats what I mean. The physical version is very low and PC owners tend to buy digital. Personally I am surprised it even charted physically.

Except that SFV has a negative reception and along with word of mouth digital sales will fall off the cliff.
