A price cut would have no effect whatsoever. The console is seeling so bad around here that retailers are discounting the thing themselves. You can get an X1 dirt cheap here in germany. It's not even funny anymore. Still no one wants to have that thing. The reasons have been discussed to death already, so I'm not going there.

I know that at least here in Norway, it retails for 500 NOK (50$) less. Wether it's official or not, I'm not sure, but it's been that way for a while.
