rumors have been spreading like wildfire, but apparently coming from a reliable source, SSB will be a launch title for the NX. apparently it could just be a port of the Wii U version if this actually exists. but remember, a few weeks ago, Sakurai confirmed he was working on his next project after finally departing from the current SSB game. so it is very likely that this will happen.

but what are people's hopes for the SSB port? Personally, i hope its going to be a port of the Wii U version that also includes remade stages from the 3DS. possibly some new stages too. people would definitely want a Splatoon map. also, i hope nintendo finall gets a better account system so all DLC is carried over. my one hope is that the hardware will be good enough to get the ice climbers back, but what are your hopes?

Yep, Agree with all the things you mentioned! Put everything the 3DS has which the Wii U doesn't here. + those DLCs

Probably all DLC added in for free, online improvements, and 3DS stages included as well.

All the DLC included for free (Also make the game cheaper for those who already paid for them before) + 3DS stages and maybe some graphical improvements (Mostly higher-poly character models)

Maybe just new stages, including stages from other Smash games, an actual balance patch based off popular opinions from the community (this could backfire), and Story Mode.

Shovel Knight, K. Rool, or Banjo. Any one of the three. Also other things. But mostly one of the above.

All I want is less lag and that's it.

Maybe find a way to get 8player smash to work online. It'll be difficult because of how crazy it is. Also try to fit Ice Climbers in that mode as well...

For the most part, I don't know what they could add within a short amount of time. 1-2 years might not be enough to create an enhanced version of the game, especially if Sakurai is not involved. He's been involved with every step of the way, including DLC, so I wonder if the quality will change..

As for balance patches, I agree with Sakurai's approach in considering both casual and competitive gamers. There's sometimes a fine line in terms of balancing. Hopefully, if there is another patch, the lower tier characters continue to improve.
