Forums - Gaming Discussion - Quantum Break rated for PC in Brazil

Microsoft published Alan Wake. The game ended up on PC and this saved Remedy from bankruptcy.

Steam saved Remedy from bankruptcy: https://youtu.be/Ms7sAv_DnMc?t=1m20s

--

Microsoft also published Ryse: Son of Rome. And this almost sent Crytek to bankruptcy.

Amazon saved them: http://gamerant.com/amazon-crytek-bankrupt/

--

Rise of the Tomb Raider was also published by Microsoft and did not perform as expected (sales wise) Lets hope Steam can save the franchise.

--

There is one company that couldn't escape going out of business after developing an XBox exclusive, that is Lucas Arts.

The commercial and critical letdown of Kinect Star Wars killed Lucas Arts.

--

Do we really need to keep wondering why all these new XBox games are going to PC? Really?

Doubt it but you guys can believe it if it makes you all feel any better.

It's an official government website, you may not want to sound so sure man.

Some people must have a special filter to miss the .gov in the website's url.

Good news anyway, the game looks rad!

My friend was discussing about Xbox One purchase for Quantum break and Forza Horizon 2. He might not be happy. Exclusives makes a console desirable from those point of view who owns a decent PC. This is discouraging. Let's see how it turns out.

Your friend can still play QB and FH2 if he purchases a XB1. Not getting one just to play QB on the PC still doesnt solve his issues for Forza.

Exclusives are nice but not being exclusive doesnt change a products quality. Its fair to say FH2 is the best next gen racing game so far only being tipped by FM6 in reviews and QB looks set to be a game worth playing. I own both PC and XB1 and none of them cancel each other out.

History shows that Xbox games dont sell to much on PC if your comparing to the Xbox consoles. So if your friend wants a bigger community for Xbox games then i suggest going to where those games belong. If he just wants a slight visual boost then its a no brainer.

I will be buying QB on XB1 but i will continue to game on my PC for everything none Xbox related. Besides if your friend doesnt mind the Windows Store then go for it.

There are too many great games coming out for both PC and XB1, i have no time to be waiting 6 months to a year to play one of 2016's most anticipated games.

Not official unless Microsoft or remedy say it is.

So he should wait around crossing his fingers to if and when it might cross to PC? Or he can buy the console now and have the 2 games he wants.

Buying a X1 future proofs his library so his garenteed to play all the great XB1 exclusives without having to worry about IF it might come to PC. Also he will have an entire 360 back catalog to game on if he wishes. The console is cheap now and i am sure a 2nd hand model wouldnt break the bank. You cant lose.

Lol a Kinect game but nice try though.

ROTR already passed 1 million so I wouldn't say it did bad.

Rise son of Rome was just a pretty game with bad gameplay. Crytek is not known for making great games only pretty games.

Alan wake released same day red dead redemption so it was bad timing. It still sold over 1 million on xbox alone so it was not bad.

Keep trying though.

-1 Xbone exclusive.

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

Most Remedy games have PC versions, so no surprises.

I'll wait a few hours to see if Microsoft shoot this down. Would be awesome though.
